This dish is fast. The meat needs to be browned and if you microwave the potatoes you can cut down on the preparation time.
Don't over cook the potatoes, they will be cooked in the keema. Always toast the spices to bring them to life. Pre-cut garlic and ginger can be bought in jars. They are incredibly useful for all kinds of sauces.
Lager is always a good choice. You could also choose a wheat beer and garnish it with coriander. Blue Moon has a burnt orange taste and works well with spicy food.
